E-Mail Me
I’d
love to hear from you. Do you have a
recipe to contribute, an award-winning example of heroic cooking, or a
nostalgic note about how things used to be?
Use this form to tell me all about it.
(I can’t promise to post everything that comes in, but I’ll post as much
as possible.)
I'd
particularly enjoy hearing about recipes that have been in your family long
enough for you to get a sentimental attachment to them. It will bring the rest of us extra pleasure
if you tell something about the dish.
Where it's from and how old it is, perhaps. Whether you serve it at
holiday dinners or summer picnics, family memories that are tied up in it. That sort of thing.
Just
a word of warning: contributing a story or recipe to this website does make it
a free gift to me and to the world. This
is not the place for the cookie recipe Grandma wanted you to carry as a secret
to your grave. I also reserve the right
to edit all material submitted. (What
I’ll do mostly is expand recipe instructions, making them clear to people who
haven’t done much cooking.)
Last
of all, if you and your recipe or story do become world famous (in the mildest
possible Internet way), how do you want to be listed? I can list your name, town, and state or
country. Or I can list your initials,
town, and state or country. Or I can
make you totally anonymous like my good friend Anonymous from Arkansas, who
has contributed so much to this site as well as to anthologies of famous
poetry.
You
choose how you want to be identified.
Just let me know what you want.
